Equipped to Reach Her Own People

Amara grew up in a community where following Jesus meant being cut off from everything familiar. When she came to faith, she knew the cost — and she also knew that her people desperately needed the hope she had found.

But knowing the gospel and knowing how to share it effectively across cultural resistance are two different things. That's where Bethany's training made the difference.

Training That Fits

Through a six-month discipleship intensive, Amara learned reproducible methods for sharing the gospel in her cultural context. Not Western approaches transplanted into foreign soil, but indigenous strategies designed by and for people who understand the terrain.

'They didn't try to make me minister like someone from another culture,' Amara says. 'They helped me discover how God had already prepared me — my language, my relationships, my story — to reach my own people.'

Multiplication in Action

Today, Amara leads a network of 12 house gatherings across her region. Each one was started by someone she personally trained. The gospel is moving through relational networks, exactly the way it was designed to.
